Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya is seen clashing over his controversial statement on Ramcharitmanas. On one hand, their opposition has already begun, a Talibani announcement has come out against them in Agra. A protest was filed by taking out an indicative autopsy against Maurya in Agra. During this protest, the leaders of the All India Hindu Mahasabha declared a cheque of ₹51000 to the one who cut the tongue of Maurya. The controversy did not stop here, even two steps ahead, another announcement made that if Maurya comes to Agra, he will be welcomed by wearing a garland of shoes.
In fact, the controversial statement on Sriramcharitmanas has been created in many parts of UP since. The All-India Hindu Mahasabha in Agra took out the symbolic observance of Maurya from Rambagh intersection to Yamuna bridge. The National Spokesperson of the General Assembly, Sanjay Jat, said, "A leader made so much of a controversial statement about the holy book of the Hindus, Sriramcharitmanas, against which no one is willing to speak! We will not tolerate such a leader. If Maurya comes to Agra in future, Mahasabha will welcome him with shoes
What is the statement which bounded in disputes?
In fact, Bihar's Education Minister Chandrashekhar had said in a statement that Tulsidas Rachit Ramcharitmanas had said that some portions of this book increase mutual hatred by promoting social discrimination. This was followed by the Maurya on Monday, citing some portions of the book, explaining how abusive language has been used in this book against backward castes. Maurya also put a firm demand for removing these fragments. The Bawal has stood in UP since his statement.
